Maxsigns (Pty) Ltd imports (and/or manufactures) display products and media consumable for the signage and printing industries.
The business ideation initiated in July 2013 and the company was formed in August 2013.
In December, the three co-founders made their first trip to China and India to identify suppliers to source the initial list of products. The team identified a set of four suppliers that could supply products that were identified as good sellers to initiate the start-up business. By the end of February 2014, four container loads of products were ordered from the identified four suppliers. The first two containers arrived in April 2014 and the business began trading in May 2014 when the other two containers of products were delivered. In the third month of trading, we were ready to make the next order of products to import. The business is growing and expanding slowly but surely.

The Management Decided that it be best for Maxsigns to be situated in Midrand, location at Unit 7 Gazelle Place, Corporate Park South, Randjespark was chosen as the headquarters, as thus it can supply goods to the Ekurhuleni, Tshwane as well as the Johannesburg Regions.

Maxsigns, has been Granted a Level 1 B-BBEE Rating (135% procurement recognition level) as the company is 100% black owned.

Maxsigns has made its mark as a supplier to the signage industry and continues to do so with a wide range of products at reasonable prices and have managed to secure clients locally within the Gauteng Province, nationally throughout all nine provinces of South Africa as well as a few off shore clients.
